The first of our Summer Apples are ready!  Discovery Apples are a heritage variety with a dense texture- good for slicing fresh with cheddar cheese- or for pies!  Sunrise Apples, crisp juicy and sweet- are just around the corner.  Summer apples are best when fresh, and not suited for long term storage,  so enjoy within 2 weeks of harvest.

EarliBlu Prune Plums have made their way to market. Other plums will be coming soon, but the next prunes won’t be ready for a couple more weeks.

We’ve started picking our first variety of freestone peaches- Red Havens- coming next week. All peaches for the rest of the season will be freestone- which are great for eating but also easier to separate from the pit which is useful for making pies and jams.
